BIOGRAPHY

A Multi-Talented Free Spirit

August Muller V is an official artist for Breedlove Guitars that started his career in and around the Northern Virginia area in 2016. He has performed in 3 countries, multiple states, and the District of Columbia on many occasions - both as a band member and as a solo musician. August is a self-taught guitar player, who also sings and plays keys. He has led and supported church worship groups throughout Northern Virginia, North Carolina, and in Germany and Croatia. August has also performed in a hard-rock garage band as a vocalist and lead guitarist for several years.

During his high school years, August competed for his school's American Idol-style talent competition, and was voted the grand prize winner by the student body in his Sophomore Year.  He also auditioned and was selected to perform in Park View High School’s World View Music Group - an acoustic multi-cultural group led by Dr. Miroslav Loncar. Throughout his tenure in World View, they performed at conferences throughout the Northern Virginia area, annually at The National Zoo’s Zoolights and The Cherry Blossom Festival, along with many parades, celebrations, and at other venues. World View also performed for the student body at many universities in Virginia and West Virginia, such as Liberty University, Radford University, Shenandoah University, Shephard University, and Virginia Western Community College. 

August has had opportunities to perform internationally while on a missions trip in Croatia wherein he lead worship and was able to jam in city centres. August also spent 6 months traveling Europe and attending Bodenseehof Bible School in southern Germany, where he spent much of his time performing in and around Germany via street performing (busking), touring with a small acoustic ensemble, leading worship, and participating in other small bands.

August Muller also auditioned for Liberty University’s Worship Collective - Liberty's most prestigious touring/recording worship group via video submission. Out of approximately 1,200 hopefuls, August was selected as a finalist.

August has most recently been writing music of his own, recording with contacts he made throughout the world, performing regularly at Loudoun County many different establishments such as Sunset Hills, 50 West, The Barns at Hamilton Station, Bike TrAle, and Trinity House Cafe. He has also been serving at Community Church as an entertainer, worship leader, and coordinator, and will be taking an internship at Community Church for Worship Leadership.
